Poplar Lodge is located in Arrowtown, a historic gold mining town just 20 minutes drive from Queenstown. 

Conveniently located by the village centre, our comfortable lodge is a place where you can rest and unwind or use as a base to experience the many adventure activities on our doorstep.

In summer you can relax in the garden amongst our beautiful flowers, enjoy a BBQ and perhaps a bottle of wine from one of the local vineyards.  In winter you can look out at the snow capped mountains while enjoying the warmth of our central heating system.

Winter brings snow and with it the excitement of alpine sports.  Arrowtown is an excellent place to base yourself to enjoy some skiing and boarding.  Arrowtown is centrally located to Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Cardrona ski fields – travelling time is between 20 and 50 minutes.  After a hard day up the mountain you can return to central heating and hot showers at Poplar Lodge!
